| Well, been out of the Coast Guard a little over a month and a half now. What can I say, being a vagrant is damn cool. FINALLY I have had enough free time to wander around and do some backpacking. Been reconnecting with old friends too (read: getting a free place to sleep). Unfortunately I can't keep that up for too long, so I am going to do what legions of other service members have done. Namely cash in my GI bill and go to school. Which brings me to why the hell I am making this entry in the first place. See I need to get to Portland OR (location of school), unfortunately there are all these states in the way. One of 'em is Wyoming, which happens to be where I stopped for the night. My hotel is in a very cold small town. Instead of surrendering to incipient boredom I decided to try out the whole livejournal thing. Heh, I may even keep this up. Good night. | ||||||||
